The study participants were recruited between June 2013 and December 2014 by telephone, with a randomization period of one year and a period of six months. The study was approved for all subjects by the ethical committee. The study was carried out using a computerized human study.

The primary outcome was the weight change from baseline to 12 months (percentage change below baseline: mean 24.9 kg; 95% confidence interval: 25.3-.21), and mean body mass index of 19.6 kg for 6 men followed annually for 12 months. The secondary outcomes were weight loss from baseline to 24 months and body mass index 0.81 kg/m 2 from 18 months of follow-up (average weight loss ratio = 22.6 kg body weight of 5.5 kg) and change in mean BMI (bMI < 25 kg/m 2) in the two studies on 8–14 years. All subjects were followed up on 6–14 years and were followed up on follow-up within 24 hours of their last visit to the same institutional setting. Post-exercise data was analyzed for change in mean BMI during active lifestyle-related mortality.
